Would it be possible to write articles and put it into many kind of sections? If there should be an aritcle with many different topics included it would be difficult to choose just one section out of it ne?
I am personally not such a big bookworm (only like reading mangas xD) so I don´t know-
Meredith is quite interested in this topic and it seems like Floris and Shimen too. So I think there will be enough articles to "open" another section. I thought about which kind of section we could still make and it ended up me thinking that there arn´t any topics left so there won´t be over hundred sections because we would really cover everything Smile (Or I just didn´t think enough about it ^^").
On the other side it´s true that with too many sections it might be a little bit unclear - dunno

Hum...you are right. It does have some gray areas.
I didn't think about that problem before, about too many topics at the time.

That would be better I guess, just my personal opinion.
But there are some gray areas. a month ago, before the blog was even online, I wrote the very first article. It's on the blog now. It's called: yet another good reason to clean your room. It's partly about a book, partly about history, partly about something I experienced (with a small bit of exaggeration).
what to do with posts like that?

Also, I'm concerned we are splitting a bit too much, if this keeps up we'll have a hundred different topics in no time.
But let's see what the rest thinks ^^

Yes it might be. But I was thinking if we can have a separate part espeically focus on books?
Or you actually prefer it to be classified into the existence topics now?
Question

Yupyup, I very much like this idea, and Shimen will too, as we are both great bookworms.
But we need to do some thinking. Isn't this covered already in other subjects?
like: entertainment, for some books history perhaps, or even the personal shout out?
Just pointing out, like to have all of your views.

An Idea about starting a new topic.

Post by Meredith on Sat May 15, 2010 7:13 am

Hey guys! I have an idea to share with you! ideaideaidea
As I am interesting in reading, I was thinking about starting a new topic called " Books & Everything in between " ( It's a slogan of my favorite bookstore in Taiwan). We could share and write reviews about books we like.
As this blog was set to introduce Asia, this topic will put Asian writers or Asian related stories in top priority.

Basically this topic will devide into these fellowing sections

-Traveling: Including traveling guides and stories about visiting Asia. Hum...I think we can put something like tips of traveling to Asia on this part as well? What do you think? cyclops

-Literature: Includes both classic and modern literature. Ranging from Arabic, Russian, Japanese...and so on.

-Histroy: Introducing books that might help you to know more about Asian cultures.

I will add more categories if I come up with something new Smile
So..I felt like I didn't write a good summary about my idea. =_=
But, please take a look at my idea and I hope you guys will like it!

Thanks a lot!
